This website is designed for the benefit of all BSE members. If you see an area you feel can be improved upon, would like to include a local meeting, submit an interesting case study or make any comments please feel free to contact us. The more input we receive from you (the membership) the more relevant the site will become.

You will find surveys, case study areas, a forum and many other interactive areas, please take the time to join in as BSE are very keen to gain closer links with membership issues and needs.

INDEMNITY INSURANCE

It has come to our attention that both UNISON and UKAS may be amending their indemnity insurance in such a way that individuals may no longer be able to be insured for work done outside the NHS.

BSE are therefore working with an independent insurance company to try and arrange alternative cover for those members that may require it.

Please help us by completing our short survey (link on left; please log in first then click on 'Surveys'.

We need to know if you now (or may at some point in the future) require individual indemnity insurance and how much you would realistically expect to pay as the annual premium.
