It covers a wide range of clinical applications and new
developments in the field, including transoesophageal
echocardiography and 3D imaging. These are given by a large group
of speakers, including recognised international authorities.
Although there are some sessions on basic concepts, such as
imaging and Doppler physics, the course is generally aimed at an
intermediate/advanced level. There are some panel discussions and
video case presentations, but no ˜hands-on" practical sessions.
This course has proved to be of great value to those who wish to
maintain their BSE Accreditation.
Abstracts of lectures are provided.
