Lifetime achievement award

The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honour awarded by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), recognising individuals who have made an outstanding, long-term contribution to the field of echocardiography in the UK.

Each year we recognise a BSE member who has made a sustained and exceptional contribution to echocardiography. Recipients will have made a major contribution to the Society and be recognised nationally and/or internationally for their accomplishments in the echocardiography community.

Process

A nominations panel has been established to gather and consider nominations. The panel will submit its recommendations to the trustees, who will make a final decision on who receives the award.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented at the British Society of Echocardiography annual conference and recipients will be notified in advance to ensure they can receive the award in person.
