#MyBSEcho2020

Recently, the WHO reported a total of 12,552,765 cases of COVID worldwide, with a case fatality rate of 561,611 (approximately 5%). With numbers continuing to grow across the Americas, and local resurgence happening at sites in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, the pandemic is far from over and the impact will continue to be felt by echocardiography departments everywhere. I am looking forward to up-to-date knowledge of the effects of COVID-19 on the heart, and to see how others deal with the virus in their workplace, both from the point of view of their own safety and the care of those who should be scanned but may be reluctant to come.
