Bursary applications extended

We’re extending our BSEcho 2020 bursary application deadline - here’s why:

We were excited this year to be able to offer 100 bursaries towards the cost of BSEcho2020 to of our members. This support has been made possible by the support of the British Heart Foundation and is particularly generous given that we now know how significantly their income has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BHF recognises the vital role that the echo community plays in diagnosing and managing heart conditions and we are grateful to them for continuing to invest in the education of our members. We want as many people as possible to benefit from these bursaries and we haven’t quite filled the quota yet. On that basis, we are extending the deadline for applications until Monday 17 August 2020.

I encourage you all to look at the criteria and share the information about the bursaries available. Our hope is that these bursaries make BSEcho2020 accessible to everyone, particularly members who might not have been able to make it to conference for some time.
