The British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) has recently carried out a review of the Rules and Code of Professional Conduct to ensure they meet the needs of our members and current working practices.
The main updates are to the:
- Definitions to reflect the role of the Advisory Council and Trustees as defined by the Articles
- Terms of renewal and methods of payment
- Process for election of Trustees
- Equality, Diversion and Inclusion statement
We have also added clarification about when the BSE should become involved in a local disciplinary matter.
