#IOTY2023 shortlist revealed

Published 12/09/2023

Five finalists have been shortlisted for our Investigator of the Year 2023.

With a high number of submissions, the judges were delighted by the excellent quality work displayed by this year's applicants.

Dr Maria Paton, Chair, Research and Audit Committee said "It has been brilliant to see the breadth of abstract submissions this year which range from practical audits to primary research and are of equal interest to echocardiographers across the UK; an exciting sign that research is being embedded more in our practice and professions. It’s going to be fantastic to hear presenters speak passionately about their work and its impact. We will undoubtedly have an inspiring abstract session at conference, and tough competition for Investigator of the Year!"

The five finalists will present at BSEcho 2023 in London, during the research abstract session on Friday 13 October 2023 at 3.30 pm.
