Registration has now opened for BSEcho 2024, the flagship conference of the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE).

This year’s conference will take place at the EICC, Edinburgh on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October 2024. It will also be available virtually through the BSE’s bespoke hybrid platform.

Attendees will hear from over 50 speakers on topics including BSE guidelines, HFpEF and cardio-oncology as well as the international speaker, Dr Victoria Delgado (Consultant Cardiologist, Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital) and invited speaker, Ms Jane Lynch (Training Programme Director, National School for Healthcare Science).

Attendees in person will also benefit from bonus face-to-face events, including workshops on diastolic function and prosthetic valves, as well as hands-on education from GE HealthCare, Philips and Intelligent Ultrasound.

Professor David Oxborough and Dr Liam Ring, Co-Chairs of Education said, “We are very excited about the programme this year. We are particularly looking forward to welcoming the Scottish echocardiography community to contribute to sessions including inherited cardiac conditions, congenital heart disease and emergency echo, and look forward to building lasting relationships with local echocardiographers. We hope to greet you in Edinburgh this October and catch up over a wee dram.”

Early bird rates are now available until Friday 26 July 2024.
