Ms Hatty Grant, Marketing and Education Manager for the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), shares important changes to registration for this year’s annual conference.
The following information only relates to those who have not yet registered for BSEcho 2024.
This year, we have made changes to the registration process for delegates attending virtually to ensure smoother access to our hybrid platform.
In previous years, delegates have been able to register throughout the conference. This year, virtual registration will close at 12:00 on Thursday 10 October 2024 and re-open at 10:00 on Monday 14 October 2024.
This change enables us to focus on ensuring delegate access to the platform rather than processing new registrations, as well as freeing up members of our team to support the growing number of attendees at the face to face conference in Edinburgh.
This means that if you wish to watch any of the plenary stream of the conference live, you will need to complete your registration by 12:00 on Thursday 10 October 2024.
If you miss this deadline, there’s no need to worry – registration will re-open at 10:00 on Monday 14 October 2024 to enable you to watch the content on demand. This will remain open until Wednesday 30 October 2024, however for new registrations in this period access will only be granted in business hours.
