#IOTY2024 shortlist revealed

Published 23/09/2024

Three finalists have been shortlisted for the British Society of Echocardiography's (BSE) Investigator of the Year 2024.

With a high number of submissions, the judges were delighted by the excellent quality work displayed by this year's applicants.

Ms Jo Sopala, Chief Executive Officer of the BSE said "The panel were impressed by both the number and the quality of submissions again this year. It is encouraging to see the commitment to research and audit in the echo community, especially after the launch of our new Echo Research Network earlier this year. We are delighted that this year the shortlisted submissions will be presented on the main stage, hopefully highlighting the importance of these abstracts and our desire to showcase them to the widest possible audience."

The three finalists will present at BSEcho 2024 in Edinburgh, during the Investigator of the Year session on Saturday 12 October 2024 at 15:00.
