#IOTY2022 shortlist revealed

Published 12/09/2022

Six finalists have been shortlisted for our Investigator of the Year 2022.

With a record-breaking number of submissions, the judges were delighted by the excellent quality work displayed by this year's applicants.

Dr Maria Paton, Co-Lead, Research and Audit Committee said "We received an unprecedented number of abstract submissions this year which were of excellent academic quality and really showcased the incredible echocardiographic research being undertaken in the UK by our community. It's exciting to be able to invite so many of you to share your work at the annual conference, and we cannot wait to hear the finalists present their findings. We are sure the research shared will spark interest and ideas, build collaborations and widen networks, and inspire future researchers!"

The six finalists will present at BSEcho 2022 in London, during the research abstract session on Saturday 15 October 2022 at 9.00 am.
