Transthoracic (TTE) Our foundation accreditation, Level 2 TTE provides a structured framework for the echocardiographer in training, and those seeking high standards of clinical echocardiography.
Congenital heart disease (CHD) Available to all BSE members regardless of occupation. The process tests knowledge of echocardiographers evaluating patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) and is endorsed by the British Congenital Cardiac Association (BCCA).
Transoesophageal (TOE) Focuses on an underlying knowledge of ultrasound principles combined with standard oesophageal and gastric views, and accurate interpretation in a variety of interventional, surgical, critical care and general cardiology settings.
Critical care (ACCE)Targeted at ensuring intensive care practitioners can perform and interpret TTE to inform management of critically unwell patients.
Stress echoStress echo accreditation is focussed on using exercise and pharmacological stress to answer questions regarding ischaemia, viability and valve disease.
