#MyBSEcho2020

I am very excited in anticipation of the virtual session on the right heart. Frequently overlooked, the right heart often provides a window into the severity and progression of disease as it sits at the bottom of the closed circuit. Its amazing how much information it can provide about the patient, their symptoms and their management. I always think back to the golden ratio and the importance of this being maintained in the heart... The right heart is key.

Time Talk Speaker
12.55 pm Welcome
1.00 pm BSE right heart guideline Dan Knight
1.20 pm Ebstein's disease: Adult perspective Stephanie Curtis
1.40 pm Scientist/physiologist-led heart failure clinics Maria Paton
2.00 pm Differentials of the dilated right heart Madalina Garbi
2.20 pm 3D tricuspid valve assessment Luigi Badano
2.40 pm Question and answer session

This has been a busy year for the Society, and the right heart and its assessment has been integrated into numerous new guidelines and at last some important changes within the normal dataset. I am therefore extremely keen to hear how our expert speakers see the current and future echocardiographic assessment. This session will be great - there are some fantastic speakers talking about a range of aspects including congenital anomalies such as Ebsteins, heart failure, differential diagnoses and 3D assessment from our international speaker Professor Luigi Badano.

The session is on Friday 9 October 2020 at 12.55 pm - don’t miss it or else I’m sure you will regret it.
